The present invention relates to a safety system for transport vehicles for safety of passengers, and, more particularly, it is an object of the present invention to provide a safety system for transport vehicles, which confirms whether or not there is a person in a dead zone, prevents a driver′s mistake due to non-confirmation, and enables the driver to correctly grasp the situation that passengers get on or off and passengers remaining in the vehicle, thereby promoting safety of the passengers who get on and off. In order to achieve the object, the safety system according to the present invention includes: photographing means for photographing a dead zone of the vehicle; a sensor for sensing whether or not there is something in the dead zone of the vehicle; display means for displaying an image signal received from the photographing means; notifying means for notifying a sensing signal from the sensor to the driver; and a central processing unit for controlling and processing operations of each means and the sensor.
