<p>The present invention relates to a method for operating a motor driven power steering apparatus which comprises the steps of: operating a steering angle sensor right after a control unit is turned on; calculating a steering angle by which the control unit receives a sensor value from the steering angle sensor; calculating a difference value between the steering angle and the previous steering angle; and setting an initial angel by determining the difference value between the steering angle and the previous steering angle for an initial operating period of time.</p> |
