<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation monitoring device and an operation monitoring method capable of easily debugging the failure of software by monitoring the operation of software and hardware.SOLUTION: An operation monitoring circuit 6 includes: an access monitoring part 61 for monitoring the register access of a CPU 2; a hard monitoring part 62 for monitoring the state of a state machine 32 and a control signal to be generated by data written in a register by the CPU 2; an expected operation setting part 63 for storing an expected operation array; and a determination part 65 for determining whether or not a register access operation is expected on the basis of the register access detected by the access monitoring part 61, the state and control signal detected by the hard monitoring part 62 and the expected operation array.</p> |
