PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detection method appropriate for a CCD type or ISFET type sensor.SOLUTION: In the chemical/physical phenomenon detection method, a detection object is brought into contact with a sensing section or made to approach it, and the potential change of the sensing section is measured. The potential change of the sensing section is measured in a state in which a micro particle body having the captured detection object is fixed to the sensing section. The micro particle body may be fixed to the sensing section after the micro particle body captures the detection object, or the detection object may be captured into the micro particle body after the micro particle body is fixed to the sensing section.
