PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately collect not only a sport result of an individual user but also statistical information relating to the sports of many users performing the sports so as to variously utilize them.SOLUTION: A portable terminal 1, at each predetermined timing, forms notification information Pb containing a present position, the acquisition date of the present position, a sport type, and attribute information, and transmits the notification information Pb to a server 3. The server 3 receives the notification information Pb from the portable terminal 1, and performs a predetermined totaling process relating to notification information for each user and for each piece of attribute information. The server 3 forms advice information Ad on the basis of comparison between the sport result of each user and the sport results of the other users, which can be grasped from the result of the totaling process of the notification information, and notifies the corresponding user of the advice information Ad through the portable terminal 1 of the user.
