摘要

A digital image of the object is captured and the object is recognized from plurality of objects in a database. An information address corresponding to the object is then used to access information and initiate communication pertinent to the object.

1. An image matching engine comprising:
a network connection configured to receive image data from a mobile device over a network; and at least one recognition server coupled with the network connection and configured to:
acquire the image data over the network connection; derive image parameters from the image data;recognize at least one target from a database of known images based on the image parameters; andenable, via an address, pertinent information associated with the at least one target to be returned to the mobile device over the network connection.
