A medical spraying device, for irrigating a wound, comprising a liquid reservoir (16) for a medical irrigation liquid (18) or a connection for such a liquid reservoir (16) and a compressed gas reservoir (4), wherein the compressed gas reservoir (4) is connected or connectable via a pressure line (9) to the liquid reservoir (16), such that the irrigation liquid (18) is pushable by gas pressure of the compressed gas reservoir (4) acting on the irrigation liquid (18) through a nozzle (24, 52) to produce a spray cone (58), wherein at least one pressure relief valve (14, 15) is arranged in a wall of the pressure line (9) that opens outwardly and closes the pressure line (9) via the gas pressure from the compressed gas reservoir (4).
