[Problem] To provide a building ventilation device that is a ventilation device for venting air inside a building to outside the building and that is heat resistant, durable, and airtight for reliably opening and closing a vent, which is an air flow hole, in order to exhaust air that is in a space formed between the exterior wall and the interior wall of the building. [Solution] A building ventilation device that comprises a frame in which an air flow hole is provided and a rotating cover that opens and closes the air flow hole and that exhausts air from inside the building, wherein the rotating cover comprises a semi-cylindrical cover, a rotary shaft, a cam plate, and a rod support. The configuration is such that: the cam plate has a slide hole comprising an elongated hole; one end of the rod support is fixed to the rotary shaft, and a slide pin is provided on the other end so as to project therefrom; and the semi-cylindrical cover is coupled, so as to pivot, to the rotary shaft via the rod support and cam plate so as to reliably be in an opened or closed state by loosely fitting the slide pin into the slide hole. |
