PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sprocket for driving a chain capable of reducing noise by exerting its impact shock absorbing function to various impact shocks added from a chain side in driving the chain.SOLUTION: A sprocket 11 for driving a chain includes a rotating member 21 rotating on a central axis on the basis of transmission of driving force, a tooth body 24 having a tooth portion 24a engageable with a roller 16 of the chain 12 and supported by the rotating member 21 in a state that the tooth portion 24a is positioned at an outer peripheral side of the rotating member 21, and elastic members 41, 42 capable of absorbing impact shock added to the tooth body 24 from the chain 12 side in a state of being disposed between the tooth body 24 and an outer peripheral portion 28 of the rotating member 21. The elastic members 41, 42 are respectively various kinds of elastic members different in specifications such as shape and mounting attitude, and disposed between the rotating member 21 and the tooth body 24 at different mounting positions. |
