A delivery box for securely receiving a parcel comprising: a door hingedly connected to an aperture in the delivery box; a separate shelf having at least one side plate pivotably connected to at least one side wall pivot of the delivery box; and a tilt member pivotably connected to the door and the side plate such that the shelf is caused to tilt when the door moves; wherein when the door is in the open position the shelf is positioned by the tilt member to receive the parcel; and wherein when the door is in a closed position the shelf is positioned by the tilt member to be adjacent the door and the received parcel is in a lower compartment of the delivery box. 412414- 12, |
