PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera apparatus, which acquires a color image by performing color estimation based on an image of invisible light, capable of performing precise color estimation even when the output of light changes.SOLUTION: The camera apparatus includes: plural light sources each of which outputs plural invisible light beams each having different wavelengths; an imaging section that takes an image of a subject irradiated with plural invisible light beams of different wavelengths; a color estimation section that estimates a color image by estimating a color based on the strength of the plural invisible light beams of different wavelengths in an obtained image data; a monitoring section that monitors the output strength from plural light sources; and a correction section that corrects the color estimation operation of the color estimation section based on a piece of information from the monitoring section.
