A color wheel assembly and a related light source system thereof. The color wheel assembly comprises a color wheel (1), a housing (2), and a detecting apparatus (3) comprising a probe head (31). The color wheel (1) comprises a driving apparatus (11) and an optical assembly (12). The driving apparatus (11) is used for driving the optical assembly (12) to rotate. A marking object (123) rotating with a rotating shaft is also disposed on the color wheel (1). The color wheel (1) is fixed in the housing (2). The housing (2) comprises a first surface (2b). The first surface (2b) is parallel and adjacent to a surface where the marking object (123) on the color wheel (1) is located. When the color wheel (1) rotates for one circle, a first through hole (2c) is disposed at a potion of an annular region corresponding to the marking object (123) on the first surface (2b). The detecting apparatus (3) comprising the probe head (31) is disposed at one side where the first through hole (2c) is back to the color wheel (1). The probe head (31) is disposed on the first through hole (2c) and is used for detecting the marking object (123) on the color wheel (1). The probe head (31) can prevent influence of heat emitted by the color wheel (1). |
