The invention relates to a method for determining a measurement start time (ts) for an imaging measurement by means of a medical imaging system (1) depending on a course of concentration values (KD1, KD21) of a contrast medium (KM) in a monitored region (UB) of an examination object (P) over time, said method comprising the following steps: - detecting the concentration values (KD1,..., KD21) of the current concentration of the contrast medium (KM) in the monitored region (UB at different successive detection times (t1,..., t9); - determining a current examination-specific accumulation model curve (CM) on the basis of a course of the concentration values (KD1,..., KD21) over time; - determining the measurement start time (ts) on the basis of the examination-specific accumulation model curve (CM). The invention further relates to a method for controlling a medical imaging system (1), to a control device (10) and to a medical imaging system (1) for implementing the method according to the invention. |
