Provided are a radiation photographing apparatus and a method of controlling the same. The method of controlling the radiation photographing apparatus includes the steps of: synthesizing a plurality of images by applying at least one weight; displaying a synthesized image obtained by synthesizing the images; inputting at least one new weight for the synthesized image; re-synthesizing the images based on the weight newly inputted; and displaying the re-synthesized image again.
