<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cigarette having low cigarette ventilation resistance and a high tar content.SOLUTION: A cigarette includes: a tobacco rod 10 including a tobacco filler 11 and tobacco rolled paper 12 wound around the tobacco filler; a filter 20 including a filter member 21 and wound paper wound around the filter member; and chip paper 30 adhered to the tobacco rod and the filter so as to connect the tobacco rod and the filter. Through holes 23 and 31 for letting air inflow during the absorption of smoke are formed in a form of penetrating the chip paper of the filter part and the wound paper. The cigarette has a diameter of 3.0-6.0 mm. A ratio of the air quantity inflowing from the through holes of the chip paper to the total air quantity sucked out from a cigarette suction port is 10-60%. The filter member 21 contains an acetate tow having a single fineness larger than 8.0 g/9000 m, and a total fineness smaller than 15000 g/9000 m.</p> |
