PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an explosion-proof apparatus comprising a function for collectively exhausting gas in the case of rapid internal pressure increase within a main body which is sealed by a sealing plate including a has exhaust hole and made of a metal material, and exhausting gas that may increase internal pressure to the outside of the main body so as not to be stored within the main body, in a sealed electrochemical device including an electrolyte within the main body.SOLUTION: The explosion-proof apparatus for the sealed electrochemical device comprises a valve element 1 for the explosion-proof apparatus including a peripheral wall part 21 which is bonded and joined to a peripheral wall of a gas exhaust hole 11 of a sealing plate 1 by integrally molding the sealing plate 1 and a synthetic resin material, and a thin film part 22 which is located on one end face 24 of the peripheral wall part 21, closes the gas exhaust hole 11 and can be torn. The explosion-proof apparatus comprises a function which makes moisture unlikely to penetrate from the outside of the main body to the inside of the main body and making only gas easy to permeate so as to exhaust the gas to the outside of the main body by forming, on a part of an outer surface of the end face 24 including the thin film part 22, a barrier part 3 which shields moisture and can be torn. |
