PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jig and a method for adjusting the core of a concentrate burner which allows even unskilled operators to adjust easily the position of the concentrate burner in a non-ferrous metal refining.SOLUTION: In a jig 15 for adjusting the core of a concentrate burner, ends of rod-like male screws 18a and 18b are screwed rotatably into female screws 17a and 17b at both ends of a rod-like metal member 16, and spherical-surface slide bearings 19a and 19b are fixed to the other ends of the male screws 18a and 18b. The individual male screws 18a and 18b constitute a pair of the right and left screws. One spherical-surface slide bearing 19a of the core adjustment jig 15 is fixed to the upper end of the concentrate burner, and the other spherical-surface slide bearing 19b is fixed to a pedestal. The position of the lower end part of the concentrate burner is adjusted by adjusting the whole length of the core adjustment jig 15 through rotation of the rod-like metal member 16. |
