摘要 The jaw of this grasping treatment device is provided with a first continuous surface and a second continuous surface formed in a shape not limiting movement of the grasped object along the jaw axis; the first continuous surface configures the edge of a first non-contacting portion in a first direction along the width of the jaw, and the second continuous surface configures the edge of a second non-contacting portion in a second direction along the width of the jaw. The jaw is provided with a movement limiting unit which limits movement of the grasped object along the jaw axis in a state in which the grasped object is grasped between said jaw and a distal treatment unit, and the movement limiting unit is positioned such that the grasped object does not come into contact therewith in a state in which the grasped object is inserted between the open jaw and the distal treatment unit.
