PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoelectric power generation element with high generating efficiency and high durability.SOLUTION: A thermoelectric power generation element 1 comprises: an emitter 2 for generating thermoelectron; and a collector 3, arranged so as to face to the emitter 2 having a gap d between the collector 3 and the emitter 2, for collecting thermoelectron. The emitter 2 includes a diamond semiconductor having hydrogen in an inside 21 thereof, and a surface 23 of the diamond semiconductor is processed with hydrogen termination. The diamond semiconductor included in the emitter 2 has preferably hydrogen concentration of 1×10cmor more. |
