PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antiviral agent allowing inactivation of various viruses and a product comprising the antiviral agent.SOLUTION: The present invention is an antiviral agent containing, as an active ingredient, particles of at least one iodide consisting of iodine and an element of Group 8 to Group 15 in the fourth period to the sixth period of the periodic table or at least one univalent copper compound. The antiviral agent has a larger degree of freedom in designing a component than ever before. In addition, antiviral expression and retention is easy because pretreatment, special washing or the like is not required. |
