PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method, device and program for image processing and an image formation device capable of realizing a desirable image process using a density measurement value whose change is considered accompanying the change of an image condition.SOLUTION: An image processing method includes the steps of: forming a test image for density unevenness measurement based on image data in which unevenness correction is carried out using a latest unevenness correction value; acquiring the pre-conversion density measurement value which is the value before the process in the test image for density unevenness measurement; converting the pre-conversion density measurement value into a post-conversion density measurement value corresponding to the value after the process using a conversion value for the density measurement value representing the value conversion relation before and after the process; and deriving a new unevenness correction value using the post-conversion density measurement value. An image is formed on the basis of the image data in which the unevenness correction by application of the new correction value is carried out.
