<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot water storage water heater capable of detecting water leakage due to freezing rupture or the like of a flow path from a hot water storage tank back to the hot water storage tank via heating means without installing additional members.SOLUTION: A hot water storage water heater 1 according to the present invention includes: a hot water storage tank 10 storing hot water; heating means (a heat pump unit 3) heating water; a circulation pump 6 provided halfway along a path (lower pipe 13) feeding the hot water to the heating means; detection means detecting a current of a motor driving the circulation pump 6 or detecting that the motor rotates; and water leakage determination means (a controller 50) determining whether water leakage occurs if the detection means detects the current of the motor or detects that the motor rotates when the circulation pump 6 is not operating.</p> |
