The present invention relates to a messaging system for determining the reliability of push messages, the messaging system capable of clearly displaying, on a terminal of a sender, whether a message sent from the terminal of the sender to a terminal of a receiver has been sent to the terminal of the receiver, delivered to the terminal of the receiver, and read from the terminal of the receiver, thereby preventing misunderstanding or uncomfortableness with respect to message sending/receiving between the sender and the receiver. To this end, the present invention: transmits, to the terminal of the receiver, a push message with respect to a message sent from the terminal of the sender to the terminal of the receiver; transmits, to the terminal of the receiver, the push message of which the content is private; determines the status of a session with the terminal of the receiver; transmits, to the terminal of the sender, a control message so that the status of the message is displayed as "message delivered," when the status of the session is connected and the push message has not been read from the terminal of the receiver; and transmits, to the terminal of the sender, a control message so that the status of the message is displayed as "read," when the push message is read from terminal of the receiver. |
