The present invention relates to a gear coupling method of coupling rotating shafts for power transmission. In the case of an existing gear coupling, bearing abrasion and power loss can be caused if a biased force is applied to a rotating shaft for power transmission. For this reason, the objective of the present invention is to transmit torque so as not to be biased on the occasion of transmitting power from one rotating shaft to another rotating shaft. A disc-shaped hollow gear has gear teeth on both sides thereof; and in the central hole of the disc-shaped hollow gear, a pair of bevel gear type insertion gears is gear-coupled to be symmetrical with respect to the inserting hole. The disc-shaped hollow gear, i.e., a double-sided hole gear, serves as a rotary frame and secures a space for the insertion gears, and has gear teeth on both sides thereof such that the gear teeth can be engaged with the gear teeth of the insertion gears. The insertion gears to be inserted into the hole of the double-sided hole gear are divided into an inner coupling gear and an outer coupling gear, and rotates while being engaged with the double-sided hole gear. The present invention enables torque of one rotating shaft to another rotating shaft without much friction, thereby minimizing abrasion of a machine without loss of power. |
