<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tapered roller bearing with improved strength that can be easily manufactured and assembled at low costs.SOLUTION: A comb-shaped machined cage 40 has: an annular part 41 arranged on the other axial side of a tapered roller 30; plural column parts 43 extending along an axial core C of the tapered roller 30 at predetermined intervals in a circumferential direction from one axial face 42 of the annular part 41; and pocket parts 45 defined by circumferential faces 44 of the column parts 43 adjacent to each other in the circumferential direction and the axial face 42 of the annular part 43, and respectively holding the tapered rollers 30. Length of the column part 43 is set to not less than a half of the length and not more than the entire length of the tapered roller 30. The curvature of both peripheral faces 44 of the column part 43 is set almost identical to a curvature of a rolling face 33 of the tapered roller 30. A snap part 48 for holding the tapered roller 30 in the pocket part 45 in a radial direction projects at its outer peripheral end.</p> |
