<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording device capable of confirming whether or not attachment to a body side is properly performed by a recording head easily in a shorter time.SOLUTION: An inkjet recording device has: an electrolytic capacitor capable of storing an electric charge; and a field effect transistor (FET) capable of electrically connecting and disconnecting between the electrolytic capacitor and a heating element. When the electrolytic capacitor and the heating element is electrically connected together through the field effect transistor (FET), by detecting the electric charge remained in the electrolytic capacitor, it is determined whether or not a recording head is properly disposed to a carriage.</p> |
