PAPER MONEY HANDLING APPARATUS

Provided is a paper money handling apparatus in which a paper money handling unit has improved security and provides improved ease of removal of jams and improved ease of change of a layout, while maintaining operability. The paper money handling apparatus is provided with repositories, a temporary storage container, and a money deposit/withdrawal slot. The repositories are installed inside a safe and stores paper money. The temporary storage container is also installed inside the safe and temporarily stores entered paper money during a transaction. The money deposit/withdrawal slot is disposed on the top portion of the safe and functions as an entry/exit opening of a paper money passageway communicating with the repositories and the temporary storage container.
