The invention relates to a method for treating a surface of an object, comprising steps consisting in bringing the surface to be treated in contact with a diffusion intermediate, then maintaining said surface to be treated in contact with said diffusion intermediate without any relative movement in relation to each other, said diffusion intermediate being impregnated with a corrosive solution before or during the contact being maintained. The invention also relates to a device implemented during such a method.
