PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flame-retardant composite member exhibiting extremely high flame retardancy even when the member has a flammable base material.SOLUTION: The flame-retardant composite member has a coating formed from a silicone resin composition (C) that includes at least an inorganic oxide particle-containing condensation-reactive silicone resin on at least one surface of a plastic base material containing an inorganic compound.
