Provided is a product search system having a user interface whereby it is possible to search efficiently, promptly, and with a low workload, for a target product from among a plurality of products registered with a product master and specify same. With this representative embodiment, a product search system comprises: a clause analysis unit which acquires a character string of a product name for each product included in a product list, partitions each of the character strings into clauses by prescribed separator characters or punctuation marks and acquires words, and treats as a search word each of the words which satisfies a prescribed condition; and a search word processing unit which presents each of the search words to a user, constrains the products included in the list to the products which include the search words designated by the user in the product names, and outputs same. |
