<p>The importance of green industries for energy saving has been emphasized lately and distribution of LED lamps have become active as part of the energy saving. However, conventional fluorescent lamps made of a glass tube are not actively replaced with LED lamps because the work for removing a ballast of the conventional fluorescent lamp and installing an LED converter is too hard. Since an LED lamp of the present invention uses AC power outputted from the ballast of the conventional fluorescent lamp to drive the LED lamp, it is possible to complete installation of the LED lamp by replacing the glass tube of the fluorescent lamp with an LED lamp while using luminaire components including the ballast for the fluorescent lamp, continuously. The LED lamp replacing the fluorescent lamp should comply with Electrical Appliances Safety Standard K10025 announced by the Korean Agency for Technology and Standards on January 25, 2013, which requires safety functions such as a fire prevention function, a safe range operation function, and the like including a function of blocking an electric shock causing current. According to the present invention, the LED lamp for fluorescent lamp retrofit can satisfy the safety standard K10025 without changing the outer appearance of an existing fluorescent lamp. Thus, the LED lamp of the present invention may contribute to the universal use of LED lamps for fluorescent lamp retrofit.</p> |
