PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drill which displays an alarm to an operator before removal of the battery so as to prevent unintended removal of the battery.SOLUTION: In a battery type drill 10 including a drill driving part 14 having a motor for rotation driving of a drilling tool and a drill body part 12 having a battery attachment part 28, there are provided with a battery engagement member 30 which is movable between a retreat position and an advance position relative to a battery 16 and inhibits removal of the battery from the battery attachment part at the advance position, position detection means (limit switch) 32 of detecting the position of the battery engagement member and state display means 33 of displaying the state of the drill. When the battery 16 is attached to the battery attachment part 28, the state display means 33 displays an alarm indicating the state if the position detection means (limit switch) 32 detects a state where the battery engagement member 30 is not at the advance position. |
