The invention relates to a bus system (11) for forming communication interfaces in a vehicle, comprising at least two different bus lines (20, 30). The two bus lines (20, 30) are both electrically coupled to one and the same first voltage limiter means which limits, to a first voltage limit, the voltage value of a voltage pulse applied between each of the two bus lines (20, 30) and a first point (60) with a predefined positive reference potential.
