PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape printing apparatus having a function of printing on tapes having plural tape widths, in which even if a length from a position where the tape is cut to an exhaust port is relatively long, the cut tape can be discharged further reliably.SOLUTION: A tape printing apparatus is equipped with a cassette installation part, cutting means, and an exhaust port 20 for discharging a label which is a tape cut by the cutting means. Furthermore, the tape printing apparatus is equipped with: a guide face 27 which is provided between the cutting means and the exhaust port 20 and which guides the label to the exhaust port 20; a first salient 130 provided in a first projection drawing 171 in the case where a minimum width tape, only a minimum length portion of which is transported in a drawing direction of a transportation route from the cutting means, is projected onto the guide face 27 from a direction perpendicular to the transportation route; and a second salient 140 formed at a portion of the guide face 27 outside the first projection drawing 171 and on a side opposite to a hinge part 83 with respect to the first projection drawing 171. |
