PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interlayer for glass laminates which is especially suitable for e.g. head-up displays allowing a simultaneous visual check of the front field of view and instrument displays without operator's lowering his visual line and has excellent acoustic insulation and a glass laminate.SOLUTION: An interlayer for glass laminates includes a pair of protective layers and a sound insulation layer held between the protective layers and has a wedge-like cross sectional shape with a wedge angle &thetas; of the cross section of 0.1-0.7 mrad, a maximum thickness of 2,000 μm or smaller and a minimum thickness of 400 μm or greater, and the minimum thickness of the sound insulation layer is 20 μm or greater, and the cross sectional shape of the sound insulation layer is wedge-like. |
