<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data processor which enables a user to easily designate desired data.SOLUTION: A data processor has a processing function to process data, and comprises a storage part which stores each data; a category identifying part for identifying which of hierarchized prescribed categories each data belongs to; and a designation reception part for narrowing down each data to data belonging to a designated category every time designation of a category performed in order from a higher order layer is received. The designation reception part displays with respect to each layer a selection reception screen including a first object representing a set of data in the current layer and each second object corresponding to each category in a layer of immediate lower order, and receives designation of a category corresponding to any second object by a prescribed narrowing-down operation with selection of the second object being performed. Each second object is placed around the first object, and has a projection part projecting toward the first object.</p> |
