This ultrasound diagnostic device includes: an ultrasound probe; a region of interest setting means which sets the depth position of a region of interest inside of the subject's body; a reflection point setting means which sets, as reflection points of the ultrasound transmitted from the ultrasound probe, multiple points in a region that are deeper than the depth position of the area of interest; and a speed of sound value derivation means which, on the basis of the received signal generated by the ultrasound probe receiving ultrasonic waves reflected at each of the multiple reflection points, derives for each reflection point a speed of sound value of the region between the reflection point and the ultrasound probe. |
