The invention relates to a power plant (1) comprising at least one gas turbine (2) and at least one tower (12) that is equipped with a power generation unit (11) and is used for generating electricity from an aerodynamic updraft in the tower (12). The gas turbine (2) is fluidically coupled to the tower (12) in such a way that at least some of the exhaust gas from the gas turbine (2) can flow through the tower (12) during operation, the gas turbine (2) being fluidically coupled to the tower (12) at least in part by a duct (13) that has a duct section (20) via which fresh air can be fed to the exhaust gas so as to mix therewith before and/or while the mixture is conducted into the tower (12).
