PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing composite particles formed by polyamide resin particles and an inorganic compound and excellent in ultraviolet absorbability, and cosmetics using the particles.SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing composite particles comprises: agitating and mixing a uniform polyamide solution (C) obtained by mixing and heating a polyamide (A) and a solvent (B) acting as a good solvent at a high temperature and acting as a non solvent at a low temperature to the polyamide (A) and a solvent (D) acting as a non-solvent to the polyamide (A) at a low temperature until reaching a temperature lower than the phase separation temperature of the polyamide solution (C); and leaving the mixture while keeping the temperature to precipitate particles. An inorganic compound (E) is mixed to the polyamide solution (C) or/and the solvent (D).
