<p>In a wireless communication system including a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) transmitting data to a node-B, data transmission parameters such as modulation and coding scheme (MCS) and a transport block set (TBS) size are dynamically adjusted on the basis of a transmission time interval (TTI), and if necessary, a hybrid automatic retransmit request (HARQ) used to control data transmission between the WTRU and the node-B is started and released. The WTRU transmits or retransmits data to the node-B through an extended uplink (EU) dedicated channel (E-DCH) according to data feedback information received from the node B. The WTRU queues data regarding transmission, and determines a transmission state of data. The transmission state is set to one among new transmission, successful transmission, retransmission, and restarted transmission. During each TTI, the WTRU starts EU transmission to the node-B identifying an allocated HARQ process, TBS, and MCS.</p> |
