PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pump capable of preventing liquid leakage even when there is a pressure difference between a rotor chamber and the outside.SOLUTION: In a pump 1, a rotor 3 is separated from a stator 2 by a metallic first case 6 covering the rotor 3 from one side in an axis L direction (one side Z1 in a Z direction), and the first case 6 and a metallic second case 7 covering the rotor 3 from the other side in the axis L direction (the other side Z2 in the Z direction) are welded at the whole circumference, and the rotor chamber 10 is sealed. Accordingly, liquid leakage from a seal part can be prevented even when the pump 1 is used under the condition that the pressure difference is generated between the rotor chamber 10 (pump chamber 15) and the outside. By setting a rotational speed of the rotor 3 to be 5000 rpm or less, generated eddy current is reduced even when the first case 6 and the second case 7 are made of metal, and adverse effects due to the eddy current can be suppressed. |
