PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing device for glass that uses a multi-compartment glass melting furnace.SOLUTION: A manufacturing device comprises: a first melting furnace 12; a second melting furnace 14; a connection pipe 20 which is to move glass melt from the first melting furnace 12 to the second melting furnace 14, and connects the first and second melting furnaces, the connection pipe 20 including a first part 30 sectioning off a first region 32 located upstream from the second melting furnace 14, and a second part 40 sectioning off a second region 42 located downstream from the first region 32; a first heating device configured to heat glass melt in the first region 32 of the connection pipe 20; and a second heating device configured to heat glass melt in the second region 42 of the connection pipe 20. |
