Production of landfill cover involves using processed mud substance having grain size of less than 0.02 mm from natural and/or artificial water bodies, and admixture of clay minerals containing dry material content of 30-60% and/or lime and fly ash or fly ash, forming layer and compressing to layer thickness of 300-600 mm.
