PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems that because a conventional detection method for mycobacterium tuberculosis complex requires an expended period of time as well as large amounts of labor and cost, and cannot perform a final diagnosis of tuberculosis and an earlier initiation of treatment, a rapid detection method has been desired, and that because, in direct detection from a biological sample, mycobacterium tuberculosis complex cannot be detected if there is no MPT64 or only an extremely limited amount of MPT64 in the biological sample, and as a result thereof, there is a possibility of failing to detect infection of mycobacterium tuberculosis complex, a surer detection method has been required.SOLUTION: Heat treatment is performed to a biological sample including mycobacterium tuberculosis complex, thereby mycobacterium tuberculosis-specific group secretory protein, especially MPB64 is secreted to outside of a bacterial cell. The obtained treated sample is subjected to immunological measurement. Thereby a method and a kit for more rapidly and easily detecting mycobacterium tuberculosis complex without culturing a biological sample, are provided. |
