PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet post-processing device capable of positioning a stopper in a position suitable for registration processing even in a size error sheet.SOLUTION: The sheet post-processing device regulates the movement in its carrying direction by stoppers 128 and 132 capable of moving a sheet S carried onto a tray in its width direction, and when the sheet S is carried up to the stoppers 128 and 132 after staying the stoppers 128 and 132 in standby in a standby position where an interval in its width direction becomes a minimum interval to the sheet of a minimum size before the sheet S is carried to the stoppers 128 and 132, the width directional length of the sheet S is detected by moving a sensor 174 in the width direction, and the stoppers 128 and 132 are moved up to a position suitable for registering a sheet width up to the side edges Sa and Sb in the width direction of the sheet S from the standby position on the basis of the detected width directional length. |
