PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interface device between a user and a surgical or dental instrument capable of reproducing a work environment with which the user is familiar, especially in a situation where an instrument is shared between some users, to satisfy new requirements.SOLUTION: A portable man-machine interface device is provided for being removably connected to a controller (2) of at least one surgical or dental instrument (4). The controller (2) is installed in a power supply and control unit (6) or desk-top equipment (8). An interface device (1) includes hardware and software means enabling a user to input an instruction or data item into the interface device (1) in order to control operation of the surgical or dental instrument (4) via the controller (2). |
