PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting mechanism of a ceiling board suspending rod capable of improving connection strength at a low cost and with simple work.SOLUTION: A connection mechanism has ceiling board suspending rods 1a, 1b that comprise installation edges 3a, 3b for installing a ceiling board at lower ends of main board parts 4a, 4b, and are interconnected in a T shape. A fitting insertion groove 11 formed along a board surface in a longitudinal direction, and an engaging projection 14 protrusively formed in the vicinity of an outlet 13 of the fitting insertion groove 11 are disposed in the main board part 4a of the ceiling board suspending rod 1a. A connecting insertion part 21 to be inserted into the fitting insertion groove 11 is protrusively formed at a right angle at an end of the other ceiling board suspending rod 1b. An engaging groove hole 23 to fit with the engaging projection 14 in a state that the connecting insertion part 21 is inserted into the fitting insertion groove 11, and a prepared hole 26 into which a self-tapping screw s is to be screwed are formed at the tip 22 of the connecting insertion part 21. |
