POWERED SURGICAL INSTRUMENT A surgical instrument (100) is provided. The surgical instrument (100) comprising: a housing (110); an endoscopic portion (140) extending distally from the housing (110) and defining a longitudinal axis (A-A); a drive gear (200) disposed at least partially within the housing (110), the drive gear (200) rotatable about a drive gear axis (C-C) extending therethrough and being selectively movable along the drive gear axis (C-C); a drive motor (210) disposed in mechanical cooperation with the drive gear (200) and being configured to rotate the drive gear (200); a shift motor (220) disposed in mechanical cooperation with the drive gear (200) and being configured to move the drive gear (200) along the drive gear axis (C-C); a shaft portion (142) selectively connectable to a distal end of the endoscopic portion (140); and an end effector (160) selectively connectable to a distal end of the shaft portion (142).
