PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a driver from feeling discomfort when an output torque rapidly rises from a stagnant state in response to sudden rise of a boost pressure while suppressing inefficient rise of the output torque right after an output torque request value for an engine increases.SOLUTION: If a target output torque departs from and becomes stronger than an actual output torque of an engine 1 in proportion to an increase in a driver's acceleration pedal operation amount and the actual output torque rises slowly, a climb gradient of the output torque is restricted from timing at which the rapid rise of the output torque of the engine 1 starts by executing a torque restriction process. It is thereby possible to suppress the output torque from rapidly rising from a slow rising state as a boost pressure rapidly rises after the output torque temporarily stagnates after starting rising. Furthermore, right after the output torque of the engine 1 starts rising, the torque restriction process does not restrict the climb gradient of the output torque. |
