<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foaming mold for a seat pad incorporating a duct which is configured to prevent a foamed material from entering a duct from an air inlet hole or air outlet hole when foam-molding a seat pad integral with an embedded air distribution duct having the air inlet hole and the air outlet hole in a duct passage. <P>SOLUTION: The foaming mold 7 for a seat pad incorporating a duct includes a pair of split mold elements, wherein the air distribution duct 6 having the air inlet hole e and the air outlet hole 64 is set in the duct passage, a foamed material m is injected, the molds are closed, and the seat pad 1 is foam molded with the duct 6 embedded. A semi-spherical projection 75 is provided at a part of a mold surface 76 of one split mold element corresponding to the air inlet e or the air outlet 64, and when both of the split mold elements are closed, the projection 75 enters the air inlet hole e or the air outlet hole 64 of the duct 6 set in the mold, and the air inlet hole e or the air outlet hole 64 are closed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
